KATHARINE BANISTER

Katharine is warm and empathetic making her perfect for her role in admissions for Twin Rivers.  She has personal experience in helping family members into treatment and has extensive knowledge of what treatment means to both the extended family and the client themselves.  Katharine studied Modern History at Somerville College Oxford and is a Founding Director of a successful property business in the UK.  Prior to this she worked at a high level at Proctor & Gamble, Johnson and Johnson and L’Oreal.

Chris, Katharine’s husband, having lost a sister to addiction is passionate about helping others into Recovery.  Having forged a successful career in the property world,  he has been fortunate to have the resources to invest in a sector close to his heart and in a part of the world he was brought up in.

MAURICE LESLIE

Twin Rivers Consultant for Referrals-Sober Companion and Aftercare

Primarily Maurice is a UK trained Recovery Coach who offers the following services in support of Twin Rivers Recovery’s expansive client services: –

• Sober Companion Service

This service offers a few options. Maurice will travel with clients to South Africa assisting in supporting a Twin Rivers client literally from door to door. This service aids anxious flyers who are just starting out on their recovery experience and need assistance in ensuring they arrive at Twin Rivers Recovery safely.

Post residential treatment Maurice can also support clients who need aftercare guidance and support during those first few tentative weeks after completing residential treatment. Sometimes this is a live-in role for Maurice helping clients get to fellowship meeting and assist in developing a weekly recovery structure for the client.

Maurice is also available for online coaching support.
