Twin Rivers was an incredibly important part of my recovery journey, and I will always be grateful for the space they created for me to heal and begin finding my way back to myself.

My 28 days at Twin Rivers taught me so much. I was fortunate to be supported by an incredible team of counsellors — Austin, AG, Michelle and Benton who each played an important part in helping me through those days. Thank you for your patience, guidance, support and for helping me get through some very difficult moments.

I am deeply grateful for the gift of being at Twin Rivers and for the opportunity to focus on getting well. I leave with lessons, tools and experiences that I will carry with me as I continue my recovery.

Thank you to everyone at Twin Rivers who played a part in my journey. I will always remember my time there with gratitude.

As a parent, when your child- (no matter how old), is struggling you want to help but dont know where to turn. Finding the right facility is absolutely crucial to their recovery process. Twin Rivers team, from start to finish, has been exceptional. We were kept informed - as much as is legally and ethically acceptable, our son was well taken care of and has returned to us, focused on his future, looking healthy and determined to get back on a new track. To Benton, Austin, AG, Michelle, T and the support staff at Twin Rivers: words and stars are nothing compared to my gratitude to you all for saving my life and sparing my family from the torment of active addiction.

I write this review to anyone considering Twin Rivers for addiction treatment and recovery.

If you have made vain attempts to control your addiction to the point where you feel you have absolutely no hope for recovery then you are ready for rehab. And if Twin Rivers is a viable option then I advise you look no further.

As the dozens of dozens of heartfelt five-star reviews attest: this is a world-class treatment programme that will save your life provided you put your head down and do the work.

The therapy programme is rigorous, intense and comprehensive with group therapy sessions, private counselling, probing assignment work and a variety of supporting therapeutic modalities such as yoga, meditation, art and drama.

The weekly schedule also included three AA/NA meetings, four gym sessions, five sunrise beach walks and a Saturday activity (e.g. horse riding, whale watching, quad biking, archery, nature walk, animal sanctuary).

My treatment concluded on 31 August, 2026 and I can safely say the programme works. With the foundation and support provided by Twin Rivers I have complete confidence that I will stay clean and in recovery for the rest of my life.

Living with other addicts in confinement under strict house rules has its challenges but these too contribute to your personal growth and recovery.

Just don’t go there in denial expecting a wellness retreat with chocolates on your pillow and a magic pill to make the cravings go away. If that’s you then you will find fault with everything, the pettiest of inconvenience will derail your recovery and you will leave with nothing but resentment.

My time at Twin Rivers Rehab Center was truly life-changing, and I am incredibly grateful for the role it played in my recovery. The staff were compassionate, patient, and genuinely invested in helping me heal. From the nurses to the therapists, everyone treated me with kindness and dignity, and they made me feel supported during a very vulnerable time in my life.

One thing I especially appreciated was that they incorporated activities like yoga and attending community meetings. Being able to practice those habits while in treatment made life on the outside feel more real and helped prepare me to continue my recovery after leaving. Those experiences gave me tools and confidence that I carry with me today.

I am forever grateful for the life-changing experience I had at Twin Rivers. The inpatient program was the best thing that ever happened to me - the community, therapy and structure all came together to help me find my way back to myself. Four years later, I'm living a fulfilled life, clean and sober, with relationships rebuilt and a sense of happiness I thought I'd lost.
